Emergency Shelter
Huntingdon House offers an Emergency Shelter program to clients in an emergency domestic violence situation.
Clients can stay in our Emergency Shelter for up to 30 days.
During this time, clients will create a goal plan with the assistance of our counselors. Clients are also provided with empowerment counseling services which will assist them in progressing with their goal plan, seeking employment opportunities, and permanent housing.
Transitional Housing Program
Huntingdon House offers a Transitional Housing Program to our shelter clients.
This program is designed as a stepping stone toward the ultimate goal of permanent housing.
*In order to be eligible for this program, clients must meet certain standards before applying. Transitional Housing clients are eligible to stay in this program for up to two years with regular evaluations.
